read more closeThe blue river zipline course has nine cables totaling nine lines with about 2.4 miles (4 km) of cable and one Tarzan swing at the end of the last cable. The longest cable is one third of a mile (600 meters). Its platforms are anchored to the ground or perched on tree trunks. You ride the zip line on a two-pulley system with a harness.
A shuttle will pick you up at Blue River Resort and take you to the start point of the tour where you will meet your guides. Guides will fit you the harness and helmets that best suits you. Then, you will hear a briefing about how to ride, stop, move forward and spin on the zip line. Get a running start on the first solid ground platform and take flight into the treetops of the Rincon de la Vieja's rainforest!
